My students absolutely love learning through technology. The school provide ReflexMath, Reading eggs and Brain Pop Jr. to our students to learn math, reading, science and social studies! We need to explore and take advantage of these resources. By adding five chrome books our students will work independently and they will complete daily assignments. In addition students will be able to have their reading test online preparing them for the AZ Merit test next year in 3rd grade. Currently, we have access to 10 Chrome books, and they are an absolute favorite in the classroom. Our classroom students are most familiar with the Reflex math and wonders, but we have watched google classroom worksheets, and the students have said how excited they would be to have their work done online without turning in a piece of paper! Chrome books for almost all students will allow them to practice math, sight words, reading stories, science and social studies. They will increase their understanding of computer resources and how technology is useful not only for games but for work in the classroom. It will be a blessing to provide a chrome book to each student to help them increase their knowledge in math, reading, science and social studies and also to provide a sense of security using technology for their future!
