I love to use STEM in my classroom. I can align it with many science and math TEKS. These tools will reinforce understanding of force, motion, geometry, and cause and effect. My favorite type of instruction is hands-on, getting the kids motivated and engaged in the lesson. They learn so much better when they can really get involved. Right now I have been using found items such as cardboard tubes, plastic cups, index cards, dominoes, and tape! I would love to have sturdier items for my students to learn and explore with that allow them to really grasp these concepts through hands-on lessons.
