I have seen and read about the perks of flexible seating in a classroom. Having gotten to know my incredible students over the past eight months, flexible seating is without a doubt what they need! My students have wiggle breaks built into their days, but they also spend time working at their seats. Having options to choose how they sit will motivate them and encourage them to stay at their table. The cushions, stools, and yoga balls will be a fabulous treat for my hardworking students. I am hopeful that when I am able to implement flexible seating, I will see the great results in my classroom, and happier, more engaged students.
