Engineering and coding are the wave of the future. My excited 23 third graders are ready to learn coding. We just need the tools to do this. We want to use the easy-to-learn and use Sphero mini-bots to make it happen. The Sphero comes with an app that is a free download with countless activities to grow and develop their skills. The site is always growing with more ideas everyday. This program allows students to expand their creativity and curiosity. The program also has lesson for students to work to navigate mazes, STEM challenges, obstacle courses, and complete assignments with higher level math skills. Through this process, they will develop build team building and perseverance.
