Osmo, 5 minute Vocabulary Practice, and Can Do are comprehension games and are a few of the products I have selected that will help my students. These resources will give them new and exciting options to choose from when working on all their literacy skills. As teachers, we have to juggle all of our students individual needs and meet them where they need to be pushed, but in various ways. These materials will both deepen their knowledge base and be fun for them to utilize as an alternative to the standard material they already have. In third grade students take a big jump from taking their basic literacy skills and using them to comprehend what they are reading. The various products will allow students to begin at the level they need whether that is simply building words and reading, to pulling out details and understanding higher level vocabulary in a story. By donating to my project, you will be helping improve students engagement while increasing their literacy skills. With these materials I can guarantee my students full engagement when working during their individual learning time, while being a great addition to our personalized learning model.
