Students will be able to bring their creations to life using a 3D printer. They will have the ability to create their own designs using math and the elements of design. Students would be able to apply this to any subject, but especially Science and Math. I also want to use it for students to create objects from their favorite books that are relevant to the book as an extension activity. Having a 3D printer would expand their knowledge of real world tech and give them a sense of ownership. 3D printers in the library provide an excellent opportunity for students to explore this relatively new technology.
