Music is therapeutic, whether listening to it or creating it. Learning music increases math understanding and poetry, language arts and music history incorporate well in cross-curricular lessons. We want to expand their knowledge of music and musical artists. Learning to play an instrument in a school atmosphere with a student who may not ever have such an opportunity is exciting. This is a tool that once is learned can never be lost. Playing an instrument can be the method to relieve stress and help build confidence in a kid that would never have dreamed he would be playing a ukulele. I'm requesting one Soprano Ukulele Classroom 10-Pack. Help us teach them that music can help ease their troubles and that Somewhere Over the Rainbow dreams do come true.
