When my project is funded, I plan to use my newly-acquired Chromebooks to increase my students' literacy when it comes to technology. These Chromebooks will give me the opportunity to have my students do more technology-based projects. As we are now living in the age of advanced technology, it is important for my students to learn how to create using programs accessible through the use of a Chromebook - the technology being used can allow them to create multimedia projects from powerpoints, to films, to any other creative project. My students deserve the best tools with which they may express themselves. I want them to learn first how to use this technology, then I want to see their imaginations take control. I want to see them creating colorful presentations on Frankenstein, video projects on their poetry, and be able to conduct research on higher functioning computers. I will see them do great things once this project is funded.
