Using the ipad in the classroom will give students a dynamic tool to use beside their notebooks and workbooks. Working in teams, students will use the ipad to actively participate in leading classroom discussions as they share problem solving practices and best note taking practices. Individual students and teams will be encouraged to use the presented material and add to it or suggest changes as they demonstrate alternative methods to problem solving. Students' notes will be posted and shared to encourage and maintain a sense of pride and accomplishment. This approach will increase students' class participation and collaboration. It will also encourage students to take ownership of their own learning and growth, making them strong independent learners.
