The materials in this project contain various forms of literature to promote a love for reading in a ESOL classroom. The goal of a ESOL classroom is to improve listening, speaking, reading and writing. Having a classroom library will help achieve this goal. Reading a variety of literature helps increase vocabulary, comprehension, improve writing skills, and is absolutely FUN! Having a variety of literature available for students in English and Spanish promotes independent reading and adventure. Seventh grade students will also be able to conduct research projects, participate in plays, learn about current events.

About my class
