My classroom is 1-to-1 with Chromebooks. Allowing each student to have a pair of headphones would allow me to incorporate more learning opportunities for each student. Some lessons may require them to watch a video and listen to stories read to them. Some students can use a program like Starfall or ABC Mouse to help them learn the English language. The possibilities would be endless if each student had a set of headphones. If each of my students had their own set of headphones, it would allow me to create lessons and learning centers to meet each of their individual needs. Many of my students are English Language Learners and it would be great if they could hear the language being spoken to them.
