For the end-of-course exam, Cambridge Literature students will need to be exposed to and have studied specific texts from the syllabus. The students will need to analyze three types of genres - poetry, prose, and drama. The texts cover a wide-range of time periods, authors, and cultures. For each of these genres, students will need to dissect and discuss the critical context of each text. At this point, only the initial Cambridge Literature class will receive these benefits. However, these texts will be utilized in subsequent school years as the program grows. These books will allow the students the opportunity to annotate important aspects of the text, help with their discussions of complex literature, and will support their review of the material prior to completing their end-of-course examination. Access to these texts through the Cambridge program will produce students who can communicate effectively and possess cultural literacy.
