At my school STEM is an elective class and in the last year that I have taught there, I have had multiple students state that they "weren't smart enough" for STEM. Many of these students feel this way because of how they perform in their core classes. If students could build something that they see uses their skill set I believe they would understand that they are "smart enough" to conquer what they may feel they don't understand. Students not only build Codrones but they also program them, teaching things like coding and engineering which is something that could make a huge difference for these students and their futures. Drones are something that many students are interested in and would be a great starting point to put students on the path to success.
