My students have become very passionate about conducting research and compiling their findings. They research and find information and use their notebooks and computers to organize their thoughts. Unfortunately, when it comes to sharing their findings, they are limited to verbal presentations using an overhead projector. They want the opportunity to print their findings so they can share the packets with classmates, keep copies to study, and display their hard work for others to see long after the overhead projector has been turned off and they have returned to their seats. This project will let them have the opportunity to do all of these things that most of us take for granted in our day to day professional lives. I am also hoping for some smaller STEM materials to help bring hands-on activities to my Science and Math classes.
