I want to provide flexible seating options for my students so they can be attentive and engaged when instruction is happening, and can cooperate and collaborate well when working with partners or in small groups. The wobble chairs I am requesting will provide my more active, energetic students an opportunity to make choices about where they are sitting. Flexible seating will allow young bodies the movement that is necessary for students to stay focused while remaining safe, without distracting others around them. I hope to create a learning environment where students are free to explore and utilize flexible seating resources that best support them as learners.
