Flexible seating will give my students freedom to make choices in their valuable instruction time at school. Last year I started giving my students more choices in where they sat in the classroom during independent learning time. I noticed a big difference in their focus/ engagement when they could choose their own “spot” in the classroom. I feel the items I have asked for will greatly benefit students who need that extra “wiggle” to accomplish daily tasks, and allow all students more freedom in learning . Students will be more engaged, collaborate more with peers, and take learning ownership .
