Hello from Whidbey Island in the Pacific Northwest! Our K-5 elementary school is the least affluent on the island, but we overcome that label every day with well-educated engaging teachers, eager students, and involved working parents. This year we're improving technology in every classroom through district funds, but hoping to go further by improving equipment with the help of DonorsChoose. As general music teacher for our 500 students, I have two equipment acquisition goals for the 2015-2016 school year. First, the purchase for immediate use of three class sets of Nuvo recorders. Second, local and wider donations for the purchase of a set of Wenger Flip Forms in the spring for use in both the classroom and stage productions. These resources will be well-used by decades of grateful students. We can get there with your help!
