These Little Genius kits will help my Prek students be able to take what they are learning about literacy, fine motor skills, social-emotional, shapes and counting, using their imagination and use the kit for hands-on learning on their own or in small groups. The kit includes 6 game! PreK is a huge introduction for all the core subjects they will be required to learn in Kindergarten and beyond. One huge step is learning their alphabet. I teach a letter a week as whole group and in small groups. A 4-5 year old hears letters and sounds and then needs practice forming the letter and hearing the sounds on repeat. The Little Genius Kit requires the students to build, model, and recognize letters. Such a great tool for them! The kit also brings in FUN! They can interact with the characters and follow directions. If they can begin to follow one and two step directions, they will grow in all core areas.
