Robotics stimulate a child's creativity and inquisitive mind. I want students to become creators of technology, not just consumers. Ozobots let kids learn and enjoy themselves through the language of coding. These little robots are just the right size to be fun and kid-friendly. However, they have big tech features that kids will love! Lights, speakers, infrared proximity sensors, wheels, and motors combine to make Ozobots interactive and engaging. The coding lesson cards vary in complexity, allowing kids of all ages and abilities a chance to accomplish simple coding tasks, but then go deeper, as their skill level grows. The robot coding can be integrated into a variety of academic areas to enhance learning and add fun. My goal is to have third graders master coding their robots, then become the teacher leaders to younger students.
