While my students come to school eager to learn, they often lack the fundamental supplies necessary to complete their school work. We are working to build a supply area in our classroom where students can have access to basic supplies that they may have run out of or forgotten at home. By providing my students with a designated supply area, it will allow my students to be prepared for class without disrupting instruction. This way all my students will have the necessary tools to be successful in the classroom. The students can use these supplies to create their graphic organizers. They can use them to do their homework or take notes. The biggest benefit is that they will have access to materials without feeling too embarrassed to ask for them.
