The Osmo program is an award-winning game system that allows students to learn coding through play and problem solving. There are many levels from beginner to advanced, so all of my students will be able to learn to code and solve the challenging puzzles at their own levels. When "games" become learning! I chose Osmo because of its simplicity to initiate, and because of the engaging nature of this system. Students can't put it down, and they don't even realize they are learning CODING! This new technology is a huge pull to interest student in learning! This program will increase their creativity, problem solving, computer acuity, and perseverance. This opportunity will give these students that come from homes of poverty a chance at a brighter future through learning high-value skills such as computer coding.
