Our playground has not been updated in 20 years. We have not added any new equipment since the installation of the current equipment. Adding new pieces to our playground will help update our current outdated playground. Unstructured play will help students strengthen interpersonal skills with each other. New equipment will help with cooperative play and problem solving. Students will be given opportunities during the day to enjoy the new playground equipment. Mister Rogers once said, "Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.” Help us provide this opportunity for our students.
