I recently moved to a new grade level and will be working with students I previously had two years ago in kindergarten. About half of my class are English Language Learners (ELL). They have always been very eager to learn and especially when it had to do with technology. In my school, we only have two desktop computers per classroom. Sometimes, it can be difficult for all students to visit the computers in a day. Having four new iPads in the classroom will allow for more students to use technology on a daily basis. We use tons of great websites that help my students learn from all different learning levels. Students who also need extra help with their language, could greatly benefit from the usage of programs on these iPads. With new technology in the classroom, it will also allow for a technology station during rotations while some students work independently or in small groups. I would love to use iPads during any STEAM activities or projects since our school is Advanced Ed STEM Certified. Students would benefit to using iPads for group research projects or to creatively complete a digital assignment/visual to share with the class. Please help fund my classroom new iPads for a more technologically infused classroom!
