It is important for students to have access to diverse books and having a classroom library of with many book options helps students grow not only as readers but as individuals as well. I would like to add new reading material to my classroom library. Books are windows and mirrors for all--showing us a reflection of ourselves and giving us a glimpse into worlds we may never fully know. Students can learn so much about themselves and about others just by picking up a book and reading. Books can help create empathy and understanding while developing kindness and good character in readers.

About my class
