A technology center will allow students access to gain computer skills and use math and reading skill practice programs such as Lexia and Splashmath. My students come from low income communities where there are zero to little resources available to them. Parents are not able to support the educational needs of their children so my class really depends on the school for resources. The school has 2 carts of Chromebooks that is shared among all classes. A set of tablets available every day would provide my class a start to an actual technology center where my little scholars can explore and dive in to their studies.
