Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and making the best choice that works for them. During independent work time they are at a location that works best for them. Currently my students are choosing a variety of locations such as: stools, yoga ball chairs, crate seats, and regular chairs. I have noticed a difference when they are given a choice in their seating. They almost always make a good choice where they are sitting. I have selected products that will help my students by giving them additional seating options making a more effective learning experience. The wobble stools will allow the students to sit at a table, but they will still allow the students to move. The Comfy Floor Seats will allow the students to sit at the floor by a low table or with a clipboard. These seats will allow the students to have back support as well as being comfortable. The Rotating Caddy will allow the students to share pencils, markers and other supplies so they are close to reach. I have seen how positive flexible seating has been in my classroom and I hope that the additional options will help us succeed even more!
