Kids are memorized by light and things that light shines through. We have been using a projector all year to make letters, numbers and shapes out of different objects. The only problem is, the projector is too small for 2 kids to play or to both do something. They have had to take turns all year and this slows down the creativity. With a larger light table we will be able to do more things! They will be able to use sand, and different minerals to write with their fingers. They will both be able to, make their own shapes, letters, and numbers which will enhance their learning and motor skills. When they watch other kids do the letter correctly first then they have not activated their motor skills in their brain on their own. This table can serve as many more purposes than just shinning light through their work, they can also use it as a center table for a writing center as well as arts and crafts.
