We are heading into new territory this year with Distance Learning to start and then HOPEFULLY in class learning and fun! These materials will travel with each child, whether they are at home learning with me on a computer, or in our well loved classroom. My students are first graders, ages 6-7. Young children really need real things in their hands, such as counters and beads for Math and magnetic letters for learning Literacy. As we will be Distance Learning to start, I really want them to have the things they will need to get the most out of my video lessons. I envision myself saying "OK boys and girls, get out your (letters/counters/dice) and turn to this page in your Tool Kit Binder. Let's (make some words /count /play this game)!"
