With the addition of flexible seating, such as these soft seats, my students will experience the freedom of movement and choice. Students will be able to use these seats to complete class work and during center time. Whether students choose to work alone in a quiet spot or with a partner, soft seats are lightweight which will make for self sufficient transitions and easy clean up. Kindergarteners need movement! They need the choice of sitting under a table or laying on the floor to thrive in their class work and conversations. My hope is that implementing flexible seating, such as soft seats, will allow students to move and learn together.
