Instead of looking at pictures or videos of chickens and butterfly life cycles, I want our students to experience it first hand. My class loves active learning and will greatly benefit from this hands-on opportunity. We are a group of 28 children from the Kansas City, Missouri Metro area. Many of us haven't spent a lot of time in a country setting or even outdoors. The opportunity to witness nature in our classroom will be a both exciting and unique. Unfortunately, hands-on, real-world learnig is very costly. This equipment will provide future third graders these same opportunites. Help me help this amazing class get out of the classroom by staying here to watch the life cycle first hand.
