My students and I work together on a unit called Fighting for a Cause. During this unit we learned about individuals throughout history that worked hard to promote positive change in the world. We will use these materials to learn how these influential activists took actions to fight for a cause and make a difference. We will research how these leaders grew up and the steps they took to make things happen! I want my students to not only walk away knowing about these amazing individuals but also for them to realize that everyone has the power to make a difference! Perseverance is key!
