These alphabet supplies will help my students learn to recognize the letters and sounds of the alphabet. We do not currently have fun activities for hands on learning of the alphabet. We are getting Kindergarten ready. All of our students will be in Kindergarten next year. We want to set them up for academic success! As a Head Start classroom, our families are at or below poverty level. I want to give them the opportunity to learn as much as possible. I need help getting them interested in learning. Hands on learning is always more interesting. I want them to be able to see and feel items they can associate with each letter and sound. It will help them make connections when they see and hold items they are familiar with.
