My students are currently working at individual desks. This isolates them from their peers and makes interactive activities difficult. Getting tables for my classroom would allow students to work in small, cooperative groups which would help with their skill-based learning and promote career readiness. In my math class, I always try to incorporate real-world problem-solving. Allowing students to sit in groups would enhance their conversations and focus. This would allow students to collaborate more effectively and increase their math comprehension. STEM challenges can be done better at tables versus individual desks. Funding this project will help me create an ideal classroom for my students. Thank you so much for considering this project. My future mathematicians will be forever grateful.
