Students can pair up and read book. We use the National Geographic curriculum, which has amazing website for students and teachers. Students can go to the myngconnect.com to read many decodable books organized by phonics skills and play vocabulary and phonics games. Students can also take the weekly comprehension and vocabulary test on the tablets. The tablets will definitely help students to reinforce their literacy skills. Another educational site like starfall.com motivates children to read with phonics. Starfall is also an educational alternative to other entertainment choices for children. The website has many games and activities which enhances the children to become better readers such as Let’s get ready to read, Learn to read, It’s fun to read, and I’m reading.
