Students will learn how to code a robot to perform various functions. The use of an iPad makes the experience more realistic because as they test their code in a variety of locations they need portability, and an iPad provides it. The students will write their code on the iPad, take the robot to another location, test the code, and debug their code as they are working with the robot. Coding is an important skill required in many professions. Providing students with hands-on experiences that allow them to see immediate success or failure is what is needed to encourage persistence in accomplishing a task.
