This experience will provide exposure to most of the science and engineering practices outlined in the Next Generation Science Standards. Students will construct explanations for why their wands produce specific bubble shapes and sizes. They will design solutions for more desired shapes and sizes. They will plan and carry out investigations to see if their solutions produced their intended results. And finally, they will engage in argument, using evidence collected through their bubble investigations. The argument will allow them to compare their outcomes with other students' and see that there are multiple ways to solve a problem, and sometimes more than one outcome!
