These kits will introduce early concepts of STEM to young learners and set learning into motion. One of the many joys of teaching such young learners is that they are naturally inquisitive and curious-How does this work? How is this made? Why does this happen? What happens if we do this? Projects will integrate weight & balance, buoyancy, construction and symmetry as well as problem-solving and hopefully teamwork! Equally important will be learning to proceed after perceived failure. Like most teachers, I like the prospect of the guided instruction, but with the emphasis on student participation and hands-on practical experience.
