On a day to day basis students read from their own leveled books. We strive to develop life-long readers who are inspired by what they read. By providing an added historical fiction library in our classroom, students can become active in learning from the past to become advocates for the future. Historical fiction develops an awareness of how the events of history have shaped our world today. Historical fiction novels are highly engaging and full of information! These novels will serve as a way to integrate the curriculum. Reading, writing, and social studies come to life when enhanced with books that take students on adventures they will not forget!
