STEM is really growing in education with the help of organizations such as Code.org that began the worldwide movement. Their continued support by giving school districts curriculum to use for free has really expanded small and large school districts' opportunities to get kids thinking outside the box. I currently have two Ozobots in my classroom, but would like to continue to add more so students can at least use them with a partner if not individually. My goal is to continue to add more variety of robots and other unplugged activities/games in my classroom for students as funding becomes available. Continuing to add these items will hopefully get kids excited about the opportunities for future career options. I know not every student will go into a career in Computer Science; however, my number 1 goal is for every student to become better problem solvers.
