The magnetic boards and letter tiles will be used during RTI Reading for Kindgergarten through Second Grade. During intervention, the teacher will guide the students using the boards, as they work on constanant sounds, vowel sounds, diagraphs, affixes, and basic spelling rules, in order to improve students' reading and writing skills. These boards may also be utilized in the After School Program, as tutors focus on these students with reading and writing deficiencies. These interventions will increase student success, as well as student confidence in their reading and writing abilities. Our focus is to close the achievement gap for these students compared to other students in the county and state.

About my class
