I would like to incorporate more science into my Pre-K classroom. The butterfly kit will be a great way to engage my students in learning about the life cycle of a butterfly. They will witness the amazing transformation from caterpillar, to chrysalis, to butterfly. What a great way to learn about butterflies by watching the transformation in our classroom. The life cycle of a butterfly magnets is a great visual to show my students the different stages of a butterfly. They will use magnifying glasses, to see every step in amazing detail and then they will draw pictures in their journals of what they observed. We will plant milkweeds in our courtyard by our classroom and once we have butterflies we will release them in our courtyard.
