These books are a wonderful resource to teach literacy to children struggling to learn to read. The books are leveled and progress along with the decoding skills the children are learning. These books are also wonderful for my students to practice their reading with and feel proud about the progress they are making. The books are small and easy for them to carry around and read to other adults in their life. They become proud of their ability to read the books; they love the stories and want to read them to everyone. The books help me teach them how to read and also, help them begin to love to read because the stories are so wonderful!
