It is important for children in early childhood to develop good social and emotional skills, these skills will influence their mental health in a positive manner. These books and games will help me with improving their emotional skills, which will allow students to express, recognize, and understand their feelings, as well as that of others. Children who can understand and manage their feelings are more likely to succeed and develop higher self-esteem. EMOTIONS MATTER! I have a goal to help all the children in my school to be able to express, understand, and discuss their feelings and the feelings of others. I also want to work with them on managing their feelings effectively and in positive ways. This will create more empathetic children. These materials will help me to teach feelings better to younger children in a fun and engaging way.
