My students will utilize this technology to connect with the past and make relevant connections to the present and future! Students will be given opportunities to work collaboratively, develop 21st-century skills that make them college and career ready, promote financial literacy, as well as enhancing student engagement. There is pressing urgency for the need to change pedagogical practices. We can't teach our students of today like teachers once did back in 1984. This project will help me respond to the urgency of providing true technology enabled, twenty-first-century​ instruction to my students. Having access to technology in my classroom will help foster a learning environment that is consistent with advances in technology. I hope to help facilitate resource sharing, critical thinking, innovation, research, creativity, communication, collaboration, increased productivity, and mobile learning. I want to ensure devices are not simply being used to substitute other, potentially cheaper methods of instructional delivery. I truly aim to transform my classroom into one that reflects the twenty-first century.
