Hands on will help my students make a personal connection with learning. Legos are fractions in math, word parts in ELA, science tools and just fun! These Legos will be a station in my classroom. Students will be expected to construct items and to use prior knowledge. Many students have no toys to stimulate their thinking at home. Our teachers realize all students are teacheable. It is our responsibility to take a child where they are to higher places. A LEGO area would be a good choice when the weather is too cold to go outside. I can’t wait to introduce new things to my daughter.
