The books my students are currently using are old and falling apart, pages are falling out and they are discolored. There is something about having a new book in hand to read that can make reading a more positive experience. I am asking for new copies of Esperanza Rising and additional resources. Besides the novels, the teacher guide and student packet will be helpful with planning and offer resources that are already created. Having another perspective and fresh ideas to offer will be useful. These novels will be used daily for reading each chapter as a whole class, with small groups, or individually depending on the day's lesson. The student guide will provide activities for the students to be successful with this novel.
