My first graders love visiting the computer lab and getting a chance to use the interactive sites to practice academic skills and research various topics. Unfortunately, the students only get to visit the lab once a week for 40 minutes. In addition, many times the students want to learn more about topics and our classroom only has 3 desktop computers for 25 students. I want to give them the freedom to take charge of their learning! My first grade students are full of ideas and interests. I want to give them the opportunity to have easy access to technology so that they can explore the world at their fingertips.

About my class
