Kindergarten to first grade is a big jump for students. Many times, it is their first time in a one teacher classroom. They lose their classroom para-educator and adult support during independent work time. This makes organization and independence a top priority for my students! This fosters a need to learn organizational skills. These chair organizers will help them succeed in keeping their learning tools nearby and organized! These organizers will also allow me to use tables rather than desks in my classroom which are more developmentally appropriate for these young learners as it gives them more room and fewer distractions.
