I’d like to purchase additional stage lighting instruments to provide the technical theatre education these students need to enter college and / or the workforce with the training necessary to be a lighting technicians or designers. Theatre builds confidence and can form habits which transcend all areas of study. All theatre students will benefit from this equipment. The production size will increase as we can light the entire stage. Actors will be seen on stage and technicians will learn to use the equipment and be trained in lighting design. Students at our school do not have the equipment to demonstrate current technological and media literacy. Without the proper equipment they cannot learn creative lighting design. Please help us give students who wish to pursue this an opportunity to expand their technological knowledge.
