In my class, we read at the start of every class, every day. I believe strongly in the lifelong benefits of a love of reading. One problem: I need more books! This project will add more books to my classroom library. A strong independent reading program is only as strong as the books on the shelves! I'm hoping to appeal to a wider range of student interests with these titles. Right now, most of my books are fiction. Many students actually prefer to read nonfiction. I am always on the lookout for excellent titles to put in front of students. These books would be a boon to my classroom!
